Metrohill Farms in Ibadan is an example of a project we undertook. On this project we trained the farmers how best to rare their birds in accordance to international standards, process eggs and package for local consumption and export.
Some of the techniques include using organic bio-stimulants which encourage larger yields and shorter time between hatching and egg production. This farmer now produces and packages for export. We introduced powdered egg production and egg shell processing as a form of diversification.
We implemented better quality control measures and processes to ensure improved quality of consistency in their birds, eggs and processed output.
As a result of our involvement, MetroHill Farms now have an egg powder and egg shell processing arm with a view to commence monthly exports to the rest of Africa and Europe.

Furthermore, improved stock control measures and appropriate packaging for the rebranded products were introduced.
Their diverse range of products have now secured a NAFDAQ certification and is being exported.
